"The time machine" and "The War of the Worlds" by Herbert Wales. It's a triology also including "The Moroe's island". All of them are connected with the future. I am very keen on imagining what the future will be. So that's exactly what I like in them. If you haven't read it, have a go- it's worth reading them..

The original "The little Mermaid" from Andersen. It's quite different than the movie most of us know and doesn't have a happy ending. I always liked fairy tales, but Andersen wrote the most moving ones. And when I was about seven we saw a play of "The little Mermaid" and I have forgotten most of what happened up until I was thirteen, but I still remember that play, with all it's sounds and colours and messages.
