 Since your hair is thick and you have an oval face , try a cut just on the shoulders and get layers . this will help lighten the load and get your hair to lay flat . You want wash and wear hair with two little ones to handle . Also since you are only 5'4" you don't want to be consumed by your hair .
Cut it to your shoulders
Add layers
Wispy bangs

| hmm.... well here is some styles that could help you. i personally would get my hair cut about 2 inches under my chin.
